Porsche Parts - Canada + USA
Wondering where Canadian and American Rennlisters purchase parts for their toys other than dealers ? I know of Suncoast, Pelican Parts but I am sure there are others here in Canada as well ? Looking for springs, brakes, spark plugs OEM etc ... tks in advance, A

It's a car, i find a lot of my maintenance parts through Rock Auto.... Brake rotors, pads, Air Oil Separator, wiper blades, MAF sensor, suspension arms...
Locally, I also give Import Auto Parts in Ayr a call.
I did buy track pads through Perry Performance (quebec?)

Does one need a business account to buy from them or can one just do retail purchase? Any particular sales rep to work with who knows our cars? Thanks in advance.

You can order over the phone; forgot the name of the guy I’ve dealt with. Once they receive the part, you can either pick up from the front desk of their warehouse on Ridgeway Dr, or you can ask them to ship the parts to you once they receive them.

Thanks wizee. Appreciate the lead on this vendor. I'll give them a shot in the spring. I love that they're a convenient 10 - 15 minute drive from my place.

rockauto or azautohaus for stock replacements. Cheapest place to get 997.2 GT2RS intercoolers was from Autodoc in the UK.
JRP in Mississauga can source anything aftermarket from the states, and deal with all the duties/brokerage for you.
Also, if you post on this forum, there are a few dudes who are willing to help find parts.

Rockauto and FCP for most, Pelican for some.
I tend to search first for the "specialist" sites to see the brands and recommendations, then check to see if Rockauto or FCP has them.
Rockauto offers prices in $CDN, making comparison easy. They also charge GST. I've never paid additional taxes on anything coming from there.

I'm a huge supporter of rock auto, but for small OEM parts I've just been buying directly from Pfaff Porsche in Vaughan. I've need all sorts of brackets, sensors, trim etc while fixing up my 996 and the price is generally about the same when you factor shipping, duty, exchange etc with Pelican Parts. I wouldn't use them for rotors, pads, consumables or anything I could otherwise find on rock auto.

for smaller stuff it's good to find someone local to you, might be surprised what some of us can do vs the big names in USA.
Need a price on bigger stuff, such as PMNA/Porsche Motorsports or Porsche genuine items, feel free to reach out
