F360 is actually a reliable car... lots of high mileage samples out there. Can't say the same for V12 Fcars...

I'll buy a undervalued car than an overvalued one any day. But everyone's FOMO these days.

Wow all the "stupid" and "overpriced" GT4s seem to have sold. Not sure I can find anything in an F360 that Id prefer over a GT4 but thats just one persons opinion.
I thought that 997 GT3 4.0s were overpriced when they came out. Now I wish I had have bought one.
GT4s are "overpriced" versus their msrp, agree, but in order to get one at msrp when they came out you probably would have needed to take a $25k bath on a trade, or pay a stupid high ADM in the US. In this case the msrp of a 981 GT4 understates, by a large amount, what the actual cost of purchase was.

Pcar depreciation versus msrp in many of the models is an irrelevant metric!

Market kind of crazy. For 144k, I rather buy my friend's white one listed on trader right now for $120k.

I recently purchased a used 2016 GT4 with 10k on it and it was definitely a learning experience.
  • Many of the GT4 sold don't even hit the open market
  • Had to contact multiple dealerships to constantly see what is being returned
  • Many buyers on the sidelines are ready to purchase
  • Dealers and private sellers have baked in the proposed federal tax as the "new" price point for GT4, to some buyers the GT4 is more desirable as it would depreciate the least when upgrading the year after
  • The $124K tax price point is a huge motivator for new buyers to get into the market now
My car had 3 deposits the day it returned and was sold. Luckily the owner traded it back in for a GT3 a week after and I was able to scoop it up.

There's plenty of GT4's for sale. Problem is - there's a huge surplus of money. Prices are way up across the board, and I wouldn't expect this to change any time soon given that central banks are not going to tighten no matter what they pretend or say.
