GTA Anti-Gravity Battery Supplier
The Battery on my 911 is no longer holding its charge, and I am considering replacing it with an Anti-Gravity/Lithium version. My internet research has yet to find a GTA supplier.
Does anyone know of a GTA supplier for anti-gravity batteries?
Thanks in advance.

Interesting thread in the 964 section on antigravity batteries. It appears that the owner quoted a legal authority's investigation and he changed the quote and got caught on Rennlist. Questionable ethics for this company. Also they are having trouble meeting demand....took them over 3 months to refund/replace a rennlisters battery, and they never stated they have supply issues.

Thanks Dan. The lithium batteries are also wildly more expensive than old school batteries. I’m trying to figure out if they are worth it for a daily driver.

If you have a stripped out, gram counting build going on, they seems like a great choice. Ditching a bunch of weight, relatively high up, in a lightweight car, would be impactful. For a regular car, with interior, some cleaning products in the trunk, a briefcase in the back etc, it's not worth the huge outlay.

For a road use car why bother $$$ ..Just get a good quality AGM battery . I picked mine up from here at their Woodbridge location the battery turns over my car proper when compared to the still good Bosch oem battery it replaced and it has a full replacement 3yr warranty.

I'm building a LiFePO4 battery to use with a trolling motor on my kayak.... it's going to be 50Ah at 13.2v.... about 12lbs compared to 50+ of a 70Ah battery. It's going in a kayak with a 350lb capacity....

On Monday I can check if anyone in Canada is stocking...we do have two dealers i know of up there but they don't stock the batteries since they sell to a large number of Car Types, not just Porsches, so they don't want to carry all the different Group Sizes we have so they usually just order from us after getting an order. But I will double check and give you the names after checking...IF you have any direct questions please feel free to contact Chad@antigravitybatteries.com
Depending on the year most all 911s can fit one of 3 size Batteries because they have a HOLD-DOWN CLEAT that can get bigger or smaller depending on which hole you screw down into. So those sizes are H6 aka Group48, H7 aka Group 94r, and H8 more rare, aka Group 49. If its the typical 911 its most likely the H6 size.
As for stock we have plenty of each size and in the different Amp Hour Options we offer. We offer different Amp Hour options because it just depends on what your use is. For example we offer lower Amp Hour Models for the Racers since they don't have as much electronics drawing on the battery, then we offer others with higher amp hours because maybe they have a more modern Porsche with more electronics. I'm posting a video below that explains it a bit more. Amp Hours are the Capacity, or how big the battery is inside the Battery Case. We recommend 40 Ah for typical street use. 60Amp Hours for heavier duty use in freezing weather, 24, and 30Ah are more for the those who want the lightest possible, but it is not recommend for typical street use since you want more capacity for emergency lighting, and longer storage time when the car isn't being driven.
Last we are having a Pre-Memorial day sale on Rennlist that will be a coupon code. It is 15% off. We have sales like this quarterly on Rennlist. So that sale gives you a large discount on the more expensive Lithium battery which can make it a great deal for those who are looking at lithium.
For those who balk at the cost of lithium, that if fully understandable, not everyone needs or desires a lightweight battery, but that isn't all there is to it. They offer a much longer life, and our batteries have WIRELESS Built-In Jump Starting so you will never be stranded by a dead battery or locked out of your Frunk again, plus you get the lightweight benefit. So for those who find that desirable it is in fact a better battery and longer lasting than Lead/Acid Varients. Also Antigravity Batteries are significantly less expensive and more advanced than other brands on the market. So yes it is more expensive, but the overall cost of ownership is less, and one time of not being stranded, not having to find a way to get into the frunk, and not having to connect a jump starter will sell you on it. Check out the video if you want to learn more.... its long but goes into a lot of detail.
