Too bad, wish they could just do it without fans. Is the Monaco GP still a go? I saw footage from the Historic Grand Prix in Monaco last weekend, seemed like there was a decent amount of spectators there. Looking forward to getting back to the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve one day for F1. The metro ride home with all the other drunk, heat exhausted fans is always a highlight!

IMSA is already cancelled, i got notified last month about May Weekend
July Indy Weekend is still not official but will be as they want everyone entering to quarantine for 2 weeks
this was the main reason why F1 is cancelled actually the quarantine rules
I think there is already reports of Canada losing F1 completely now that there is Miami
F1 is demanding the federal and Quebec gov to cover all loses for June Weekend including what people would spend at the track on food and merch
Our September Race in Mt Tremblant is still scheduled but I'm not keeping high hopes!

Honestly I haven't gotten into FE at all so far, and aspects of it like the fan boost are still stupid. But it's still pretty high level motorsport, and seeing it in Downtown Vancouver will be fun. If the move to electric is going to rob us of beautiful racecar sounds, at least this kind of thing will be a silver lining.

At the same time they announced the switch to Turkey, it was confirmed that the Canadian GP signed on for another two years.

As long as the money flows, F1 will stay in Canada. Two drivers, one rich owner and several more sponsors are hard to ignore.
At the same time they announced the switch to Turkey, it was confirmed that the Canadian GP signed on for another two years.

Exactly... 2 year extension for Canada.
The reason F1 cannot come to Montreal is the Canadian and maybe Quebec governments do not want to allow the F1 teams into Canada without the 14 day mandatory quarantine... Totally ridiculous! They have proven last year that they can do it because of very strict guide lines F1 has put into place that caught anyone in F1 with the virus and isolate them without spreading it. Anyway the way both levels of government are handling this whole COVID thing is pathetic.
