Default Radio Harness

Well, I found a nasty surprise this morning when I removed the aftermarket radio. Whoever installed it decided to cutoff the yellow connector, and cut all but one wire from the black connector.

I'm trying to get things back to stock and hoping there might be someone out there who has a section of the stock wiring harness with the factory connectors still intact.

I'm also looking for a mint CDR-220 if anyone has one.

you would have better luck going directly to the tech forum for your model.

Randy Myers at whaletail might have what you are looking for , most buy the correct mating harness and adapt it .

I'm not looking to adapt the factory harness - I'm looking to repair it. Like I said, whoever installed the aftermarket radio cut the harness.

I'm trying my luck in this forum in the hopes of finding someone in Canada with a CDR-220 and a section of the factory harness.

IMHO opinion, soldering iron, wire shrink, that is cleanly repairable. Maybe some of the wires may need to be extended.

yes that was my point, as most use an adapter there should be lots of good harnesses available from scrapped cars.. I imagine there have been a fair number of scrapped ones over the years.

Yes, easy enough to fix if I can find a section of the harness with the factory plugs - which was the reason I started this post looking to see if anyone has a section of the harness.
