WTH?? There are plenty of OT items on the Canada forum because, well, we live here. And its a pic of a car on a car forum. Yes its a Vette but figured some people can appreciate cars other than Porsches

Annoying

Love the blue! How about some details? Year, options, mileage..... I do like the C 7 in black. It's starting to grow on me. It's only been out for 7 years. Lol.

Thanks, yes the colour is what 1st made me take notice. Had not really considered a Vette but when I went to look at it I quite liked it (obviously). And options for a manual sports car are becoming smaller and smaller.
Its a 2019 which is the last year for the manual. Has 13k kms on it and 1.5 yrs of warranty left. It is the 1LT trim which is the basic stuff. Unlike Porsche there are only 3 trim levels and not many options other than that. I believe the (functional) vents were painted "flash black" and the wheels were an upgrade
Its the 460hp and 465TQ thats addictive!

Yea, Vettes are cool. I had a couple. A 1993 40th anniversary 6 speed convertible and a 2004 silver 6 speed coupe. If anything you might appreciate Porsche fuel economy. I always loved the sound the you would get from the torque tube inside of both of those cars. Sounded like a turbine or something. V8 cars...... You should drive a C7 Z06. It's absolutely ridiculous.

Yes it has a wail when its above 4500, very cool. This car already scares me a bit so cant imagine what the Z06 is like

Apparently it can get close to 30mpg if you allow it to ride in V4 ECO mode on the freeway etc. I dont ever expect to get there....

Cheers

Nice car
I have a C6 Z06, fast as hell and wears out the rear tires if not careful
It gets 33 mpg on the highway if in 6th gear.

I wouldn't want to be taking my hands off the wheel to shift. Auto might be a good idea.
