I recommend Advan Tire in Scarborough. Owner drives a targa I believe. Has roadforce balancer and centerlock torque wrench if you need! I'll be going there for new AT tires for the truck in a month or so.

Thanks all for the feedback.

Some good suggestions here. I like the mobile option but not sure about the 911s. Will check out a few of these - I think mobile, Burning Rubber & Tires 23 (as I've done business with them before). I've been in Tires23 shop, clean and organized. I've been in Simply's shop.....a little scary looking, tight spaces, dark, somewhat unclean...haven't been back.

Maybe if I open up a tire shop! I've thought about it, just seems like good opportunity in the West end for a solidly run business.

Bumping the thread to follow up to see what the OP ended up doing but wanted to update that I just made a purchase with Billy @ Tires23 (not tires) and again, it was a pleasant experience and there was nobody who could come close to their pricing.

OP has been busy

I was thinking about this last night. I want to call/email Tires 23. Hopefully this week. Michelin spring rebate is out as well at the moment.

If you do decide to contact Tires23, I personally recommend calling them instead. It took a while for an email response. I suspect most (if not all) tire shops are busy for the spring season.

I reached out to a few tire and suspension shops via e-mail and it didn't get any responses back so I had to phone them directly.

I actually find calling tires 23 to be hard. I usually email Terry. TERRYNGAI@tires23.com

Great shop and nice guys to deal with

Funny as I literally got off the phone with Terry 2 minutes after you posted this.

I need a set of tires for my car and I am thinking of using tires23 based on this thread. I assume they that are good with expensive rims and take adequate care?

I would trust them, for whatever it's worth. I recently had a 20" tire changed on my Cayenne. No issues, speedy service. Tidy shop. I plan to take other cars there as well based on my most recent experience and past.

EDIT - I should also add they ordered a few tires and gave me the best date available. Think because the Cayenne OE tire is not common. They said they'd return the rest. So this is good service as well.
