Latest provinz track talk section Dave Osborne talks about the tentative schedule for their track day at CTMP on May 29th (of course only instructors and solo drivers would be permitted as it's impossible for a student/instructor at this time).
Wonder if this will go ahead or not, but we'll see soon enough (not that it matters to me as i'm not at that solo level.....)
Professional and amateur sport activity for individual/single competitors, including training and competition conducted by a recognized Provincial Sport Organization, National Sport Organization, or recognized national Provincial training centres (e.g., Canadian Sport Institute Ontario) with return to play protocols in place and no spectators, except for an accompanying guardian for a person under the age of 18 years.
This includes:

Other sports such as: track and field, car and motorcycle racing, figure skating, fencing, rock climbing, gymnastics, etc

We'll see what CASC-OR comes up with on the racing front. As far as track days go, I can't see it happening though. Holding a driver meting, providing instruction to beginner & intermediate participants, the usual buffet lunch and last but certainly not least, the paramedics and possibly even corner workers who will now need to put on PPE before they even approach a car that may have crashed somehow doesn't quite add up or inspire confidence. A friend who is an ER nurse was telling me that the new protocols and regulations require that they let people code until ER staff is able to change their PPE instead of immediately starting with emergency CPR and that some people have died as a result. Not really what I'd want at a track. Besides, just imagine the optics of "all of our paramedics are working overtime dealing with COVID patients while a bunch of rich a**holes have them sitting on standby at a track event" and how that is going to play out in the media.
