Get you money back people before it's too late.

It’s a great experience for kids. My son and I have really enjoyed it and he looks forward to it all year. In Montreal, it’s not only the track, but the atmosphere downtown, with tons of exotics rolling around, screaming engines, and street displays. I only hope it comes back as strong next year.

Imo, ticket vendors are not yet offering refunds. They are waiting on postponement dates, and they will assess based on that apparently. Personally, I’ve divested of all other commitments.

Hope that they cancel. If the event gets "postponed", they can hold your money til whenever.

That's how it been happening in the concert world. Ticketmaster is not offering refunds for any show that are listed as postponed.
Stand up move the other day by Bon Jovi. He cancelled his latest tour which forced Ticketmaster to issue refunds although Ticketmaster said it could take up to 30 days for it to happen.
Bon Jovi said he wanted the money back in the hands of fans in this difficult time and will plan a new tour when safe to do so.

And in the sporting world - MLSE and Blue Jays (Rogers) are taking the same approach re holding your $ for a postponement vs cancellation. Probably not a big deal for most as $ will get back in to the hands of ticket purchasers once they finally cancel the events that were originally postponed but hard to argue with the Bon Jovi approach forcing a refund as I'm sure there are many that may need a bit of extra cash flow at the moment. My $0.02 I don't think there will be any concerts, sporting events this summer. Keep safe.

These companies are using your money without paying any interest on it. Wrong is so many ways.

many bands cancelled a long time ago so Bon Jovi could also have cancelled a long time ago and gotten people their money back. My wife is a huge Bon Jovi fan and he is all about making money. We have seen him many times and this time decided to pass this tour since tickets were so ridiculous. I have tickets to see Dead and Company in Michigan, they also cancelled yesterday. so purchased in US funds and wondering if I'll end up making money on the exchange? Next to Rogers Ticketbastard is my next worst company in the world...haha. Lots of free at home concerts going on now. For entertainment netflix has Last Dance the Michael Jordan story and first episode was excellent last night.

Looks like the British and Austrian races may run with no spectators and lots of social distancing,, though I cannot understand how this would work with a pit crew.

Has anyone heard what the Toronto Indy organizers are planning on doing about tickets?

What finally happened with tickets for F1 in Montreal?

Oh there is interest alright, if you don't pay off you credit card balance. One could only wish to get half that rate on savings
