Default off topic: Bracebridge living

I'm looking for some temporary housing in or near Bracebridge (within a 30 minute drive at most to the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital) for end of June/beginning of July for probably 6 months or a bit more until I am able to buy a house for myself there. Thought I would reach out to the folks here to see if anyone could be of help because so far I can't find much for rent out that way.

I have an extra cottage and cabin. But currently the cottage is too moldy for human or animal. The cabin is fine, but the water is off, and has not been used for a few years, because of the moldy neighbor.
If you are really stuck, I can see what I can do.
palmpalm - You should offer up a little more info.
Number of people? Just you? Or spouse and ten kids, four dogs, cat and hamster?
Currently a roof snow avalanche has knocked the railing off the deck.

Didn't know about VRBO (just googled it after seeing your post). Thanks

Thanks, will let you know if I come-up dry. Just me, no other humans or animals.

Cool, used it few years back for a cottage rental in Muskoka. Recall it having lots of selection, albeit the platform isn't as slick as a Airbnb.

There's a ton of crossover between vrbo and airbnb (makes sense, property owners want to get as much exposure as possible) but sometimes the price is different, sometimes even significantly. If you find it on one site, check the other to see if it's less expensive! I saved us hundreds when we were in France last summer.

When I worked in Bracebridge in the summers of 1992,1993 at SMMH and the drugstore, I stayed on the golf course one year.. The one on "Golf Course Rd", can't remember the name.

The other year, my parents had friends with a cottage on Three Mile Lake, and I stayed there free during the week...

The hospital may have some leads on apartments in BB or Gravenhurst....
