based on the silliness of his statement I think it is appropriate to name the salesman who gave you this info so others are not mislead by him/her.

Yup roads here are anus, but the most problematic degradation is from salt. Bent parts can be replaced.

We do have more snow than TO, so yes, more salt and corrosion (all things equal). Depends on how much winter driving the chassis sees.

All my German cars are allergic to salt. The Hyundai laps it up

Cheers

Victim of Cote Vertu West? My wife destroyed a tire heading to work there last winter but I buy steel wheels for the winter. They can be fixed within reason by a hammer!

Nope Greg , entering highway 30 West near Dix 30 ... my girlfriend blew out a brand new tire on 13 South , good thing for Nokian road hazard warranty !!!
Key in Quebec is don't drive with 55 profile Winter tires ...

We all seem to forget that if you you buy fuel in English in Quebec it’s half price. Yes that’s right. The pricing has to be shown 50% smaller than in French. Just sayin!

Sounds like the same nonesense the dealers will tell you about buying a US car: that if the person could sell it to an American they would but they can’t because it’s a lemon.

I was told this this over and over - that only the worst cars in the US come up north!!!!

Translation = All dealers are full of ****.

My latest issues with VW CPO only got solved because I investigated on my own and VW had no choice but re-instate my warranty. Had I not done what I did they would have bent me over big time.

The lies that all three dealers and HQ through at me came from the same play book.

Bottom line I would post a review on google and call out the salesperson and sales manager by name and quote what they said. The dealer will have no power to remove any review on google.

Sales person was just trying to put some FUD into your mind and to convince you to buy from Pfaff. "2 stars" for creativity though!

if he were my employee, he would be looking for a new job. lying to customers is bad for business in my book, maybe not yours Mike... how many stars would his creativity receive if he was lifting parts from the shelves or stealing deposits for GT3s? same type of salesman you call creative
