My only gripe? That Porsche tire wrench is just a little short. I have the strength.
But they had a hard time loosening the bolts.
I have now added a longer wrench to the trunk kit.

just tell them to stand on it and bounce and it will come loose. or could just extend with a pipe.

I had to put both of mine away without an oil change. Too much s#it on the go. They will be fine.

I don't think these work well as they're at an angle... cross wrench work much better.

I disagree, they work well because the socket is close to the bolt. I've used them many times in the past. The angle of the handle makes the wrench stay on the bolt, instead of slipping off because the leverage point is not that far from the bolt. It works better than the cross wrench when the bolt is struck.

One last very cold driveway wash pre hibernation. A good wax tonight/tomorrow morning, plug in the CTEK, throw on the dust cover and wait for spring.

I was hoping this cold snap would warm up so I could fill we right up. Turns out I’ll have to Jerry Can 40L.

I’ll be Uber detailing and cleaning all winter, fixing little mirco issues. She’s going on rubber pads, tires at 50psi and the cover when I’m not staring at it for hours..

In the barn...

first winter i had mine on jack stands, replaced shocks, brake lines, serviced wheel bearings, serviced CV joints, put on all new bushings and drop links on my sway bars, installed turbo tie rods, inspected fuel pump and spray painted skid pad, removed seats and crpets down tot he tub and serviced what i could and cleaned up wiring. .. installed headlight relays, all great stuff and got me intimately connected with my car

i hear ya! This is how you learn your care. Stare at it for hours. Lol.

Most of that’s all done here. But like any new owner, I missed the seat rails in the drivers side re welded and moved aft, and because of that some Pain it the butt seat removals. Of which I’m tracing my first short I may have caused in the seat power....

got all winter....

no no. Some PO cut out and re welded the drivers side seat support rails aft and out 5”. It’s solid. But makes taking seats out insane. Some PO trick I’m not in on.

Tall guys do this for tack days and head room

After a nice drive on Sunday finally bit the bullet today....had oil/filters and brake fluid changed, added Stabil, topped up with V-Power, washed 'er, spread out the tarp and traps, parked on foam tiles with CTEK plugged in.
Earliest hibernation in a decade. Sure wish global warming was a real thing......
