And of course the C8 will look like a Ferrari. The C7 design was such a copy I was surprised there wasn't a lawsuit!
Do you mean c6?

C7 is the transformer vet.

many is a real stretch, maybe that was true 50 years ago when you got your licence but these days that vast majority of Porsche owners do not go anywhere near a track.

The corvette is a great car and has its spot in history as the 911 does, the 911 took a far greater hit with the reliability of the m96 on its name than corvette ever did. The M96 was an admittedly " built to a price" engine by Porsche and dollars spoke more than engineering when the Japanese stepped in to help save the company from itself. Problems exist today with Bores scoring just at the tip of the iceberg.

So lets not show a bunch of juvenile douchbaggery and enjoy all enthusiast cars for what they are.

I do remember seeing you at one of the Hot Dog Runs. You pulled up in a Mercedes or an Audi.
It was the only time I went to one of those.

If you have a nice car you find ways to go and drive it.

I agree, honestly the C5 Z06 is best bang for the buck but it is butt ugly. I have always liked the C6 but I love the C7. Hopefully the C8 doesn't change that much from the C7.

If I were to get a new car though, I think the Mustang GT350 R is a great looking and capable car, probably would be where my money went.

+1 Maybe not even the R, just the flat plane crank V8. I'd wait to try the C8 though. Looks very promising.

For those coming home from the Hot Dog Run or finalizing your Douchbaggery,
the reveal is tonight in about 10 min.

Watched a bit of it online last night. Can't say I'm surprised that finally they went with a mid engine design. It was just a matter of time. The beginning was when they put the transmission in the back (like the 928) and not the next logical step was to move the engine to the proper place.

Not bad numbers for the entry level C8.

On the whole I think it looks pretty good, in a Corvette way......

Don't like the Honda Civic plastic inserts in the rear.

Can't wait to see one on track, tho.....
