On average, the Porsche-in-the-drive quotes were ~20% higher than the Porsche-down-the-street ones. In hindsight it's not really surprising but it's something we are going to have to keep in mind for all our future work.

I'm lucky in the sense that my toys are always parked in another private location, so people that come to the house to estimate work (which is all the time because my house was built in 1949) only get to see the company beater and my gf's rust bucket in front.
