Default GTEK AUTO feedback

Hi! Has anybody got any feedback on Gtek Auto near Bermondsey in Scarborough?
Am looking for a Porsche specialist shop over in the Scarborough area.
Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you

I went there when I first bought my 996:

1. Looking back, I got hosed on the work that they did.
2. They couldn't get the work done in a timely manner, and kept giving me times it would be completed, and then failed to meet the time.

I haven't been back.

Sorry to hear that and thank you for responding and giving your feedback. Have you found a good shop to bring your 996 and if yes, can you share?

Porsche-specific shop = bend over.

I've had great luck with Independent Tuning. 100% honest guys.

MVS Motors on Warden & Ellesmere south of 401.
Mario and Nick are as good and honest as it can get.

in the East End i think Speedstar is the best, i haven't used them but only seen their work and its good and i have friends that use them
i know the owner and the team, we have raced together in Porsche Cup Canada for many years, nice bunch of guys.

now if you come to the west end, Hunter is the best around here in Mississauga
and there is also European Automotive in Oakville which is also very good.

Hi! This is what i wanted to know. Which shops are the best in the west and east. I’ve only heard good things about Hunter. I’m from the east end so will definitely try Speedstar.

Thank you!

I stopped by Hunter this past Monday and was greeted by Brett. He was great to speak to and was open and honest about his schedule and turnaround times. The quote he provided me was fair in comparison to the market as well. I haven't taken my car for service, but he's a lot closer to me than Mantis in Oakville (who is also great to me as well.) I'll likely take my car next to Hunter for my next seasonal maintenance and cooling system work.

I'm surprised Jack @ Gtek isn't getting any love. Mind you I haven't been in years.
