+1. I've had the same PartSource (same thing as CDN Tire) battery in my C4S for the last 9 years. No problems at all. I do use a CTEK battery maintainer whenever I don't drive the car for more than a week.

Canadian Tire Motomaster Eliminator. Perfectly good battery, cheap price and 5 year replacement warranty. Don't give this any more thought. Also, no you don't have to re-program anything after changing batteries (that question always comes up in replacement battery discussions for some reason...).
Edit: Or, Voltphreaks LiPo VPR6 - save 60lbs of weight, just $1500 or so

Costco has them as well and a bit cheaper than Wal-mart.

I just did this Cdn Tire branded for me, the tray in the 997 can take any H6/H7/H8 battery you just screw the clamp into a different location. My OEM original battery lasted 9 years which I guess is pretty good :-)

Maybe there IS something wrong with me, because my birthday present to myself this year is going to be an Antigravity battery.
No affiliation, just think its far easier losing 30 lbs this way then signing up for a gym I will never go to.
