Help: sourcing missing parts on rebuild of 3.0L engine
EDIT: Sorry, it's definitely a 3.6, not a 3.0
I'm having a rough day...
I had the engine on my 1990 964 C2 cab ripped out at Sovereign Motors in Vancouver a couple of years due to (what I was told was) a broken rocker arm. They were estimating 20-25K for a rebuild so I let it sit.
I moved back to Toronto last year and shipped the car as a roller with the majority of the engine components in the car itself.
Now I've got Mario and team at MVS Motors in Scarborough rebuilding it (they're doing a great job) but they've discovered major pieces missing: exhaust manifold/heat exchanger, propeller fan and housing, and the flywheel, to name the major ones.
No luck with Nick at Sovereign in Vancouver - says he can't find the parts.
I'm resigning myself to the fact that I have to now source these parts. I've looked at LA Dismantler and Pelican, but do you guy have any other suggestions? Toronto/GTA is preferred, but I'll travel if I have to.

Might have some take-offs from our 964 track car. Would have to check what parts we have. We replaced the exhaust manifolds with stainless headers so i'm fairly certain we still have the factory ones. "Propeller fan and housing" is this the wide black fan setup under the dash you're after? If so we have that.

given he was in for a broken rockershaft i would imaging he is after the fan and housing off the back , those arent going to be cheap .
i just cant understand how this happens. but a mechanic in Kitchener screwed me over the same way many years ago . priced me crazy money to fix a minor problem and when i went and got my car and parts there was all kinds missing. super irritating.

Thanks, Adam.
The fan that I'm looking for is the main fan/propeller in the engine - the one attached to the alternator. The parts catalog calls it "impeller" Plus I also need the alternator/generator.
I've attached some images for clarity.

Amen to that - I cannot emphasize the importance of a mechanic that is trustworthy and knows what they're doing. The shop in Vancouver sent me home with my roller and they didn't even plug or drain the fuel tank!
