Try Rock Auto (rockauto.com) they are from the States but their prices are usually unbeatable and they deliver parts withing days. Used them many many times over the years for all kinds of car parts.

"am I correct, for a certain Italian brand?" - you caught me Rob, yes, that is correct

RockAuto - been a good customer of theirs for some years now but they don't have it. Nor does GermanParts.ca. I thought, hoped, the Bosch p/n will do the trick but no luck. Bought it from Ricambi

I may be wrong but THINK 996/Boxster/997 coils can be used if the boots/connectors are swapped over (actual coil is the same AFAIK).. cheap and available.
I checked my accounts and no luck for the car in question for the OE style part

Grrrrrr......there is no bright side to spending 224 USD for a coil pack and fearing the other 7 will follow sooner or later. Eh, been lucky with the car so far, time to wake up. By the way, greetings Clive, hope you are doing well
