911 production numbers...
Canada still only receives a fraction of what the U.S. does...

Of course we only receive a fraction, by comparison we have just over 1/10th of the population.
USA Pop. 329,093,000
USA 911's. 11447
= One 911 for every 28,749 people
Canada Pop. 37,279,000
Canada 911's. 1443
= One 911 for every 25,834 people
Based on the above, on a per capita basis we actually get more 911's than our American counterparts. Additionally we are actually quite fortunate with the more desirable models - One GT3 for every 96,829 Canadians vs. one GT3 for every 123,580 Americans.

And more GT2RS in 2018 than any variety of turbo during the same year. Only exceeded by TTS in 2017. So why are they so hard to get?

Wow...more GT3 and GT3RS than the Turbo and a lot of the Carrera variants in 2018! To me all that means is affordability and supply in 2022-2024 when these are 4-6 years old. If you don't mind a few miles on a GT3, that will be a great time to get into one.
