The Leafs were always my team all the way back from the 70's ( I looked up to them as a jr York Toro back in the day when they did practice skates at George Bell Arena) and because they have been so useless for decades now. I don't have a team and refuse to jump to another ...consider me an orphan fan.

Screw being a naive fan that says oh well maybe next year ..They really tried ... That's ok for maybe a decade but not my entire lifetime !!!

Just make sure you are up on your Heimlich maneuver because the Leafs will choke like they have the last 51 years and then you can listen to Babcock breakdown what went wrong and how they intend on fixing it "next year" .

Their entire organization needs a full purge from the top all the way down if there is any hope of ever winning a cup. At least we have the Jays , Toronto FC and the Raptors ....all winning teams I might add and considerably younger ...Food for thought ...

I admit it is tough being a Leaf fan but it can also be fun at times. Even the worst franchises can be built into winners...its fun to watch.
