if there is a bypass on the filter you may get away with it.......otherwise its a new motor........its usually a DA EVP or his kid

I forgot to post these, some of you might have seen them on my IG account... We had an X3 come in for a frequent intake vanos code. A couple other shops replaced the solenoids/actuators, plugs/coils, DME etc. So now it was my turn. First thing I did was remove the check valves/screens...

This is what I found


Popped the valve cover... Someone had been there before.. The cam lobes are damaged due to lack of well oil.

I head an engine that came from the junk yard that looked worse than this one. The sludge was so bad that the cam lobes carved out a chanel,,,,,,the lobes were worn down so they didnt; open the valves.
