I've had good experiences with the "Sport Edition" branded wheels for winter. I ran them on my E36 BMW M3 for 3 seasons, and a separate set on my 996 C2 for 3 seasons as well. They were well balanced off the shelf, and for the cost, it was hard to beat. I would say the only drawback is the weight, but to me, it didn't matter.

I gotta agree with the OEM wheels. On my old Subaru, I got steelie, Subaru centre cap wheels for my winters. With my jeep, since it was purchased in the spring, I found OEM jeep rims (same option as my summers) with winters used for 2 months. 1/3 cost of buying new. No vibration issues, no hub rings etc. Jeep looks the same winter and summer.
