I always fight. Cops were a no sho for the two toronto tickets. Both OPP showed. Had airplane 133 ticket. Paralegals were plea bargaining so i did too. Can’t remember what he brought it down to.

are real tickets in physical court these days?

as pointed out earlier .. reduction buys you nothing unless its dismissed as 0-44 is an infraction regardless...

i have heard cops don't need to show these , and its all done over skype... ( your honour i can assure you , I am not a cat ) .

I have a friend who works for NB police, i can ask if you want. Did you get dinged ny North Bay Police or OPP ?

but ticket will show "R" as reduced at roadside, so they will see cop gave you a break already ..

Still recommended? Any other recommendations? I got a ticket on the way out of North Bay (115 in 100 zone - no points - was doing 127 on cruise control, and warning for tinted plate covers).

I was hoping to get the ticket dismissed; I want to keep my record clear. I don't want to be a "high risk" for insurance if I get another ticket within 3 years :/
If you have first offence forgiveness with your insurer, just pay it and move on.. 15 over is the minimum and will show up as a minor incident.
Cops in North Bay, have nothing to do and will show up in court.

It was North Bay OPP :/ , and yes Code "R" on the ticket since he dropped it from 127 to 115. They were two cops in one undercover Durango (one might be in training - she had something written on the vest). Both came out, but only one came to the driver side window.

Seems like it might be hard to get it dismissed. Maybe I'll pick court option, file for disclosure and see what the notes say, and then pay it

be careful kicking it down the road as it is on your record 3 years after conviction, you want it off your record ASAP if you are going to plead guilty. My son just got burned by this as he kicked it down the road and got convicted a year later.

They forgive but they don't forget. If you get a second then they tack on increases for the first. Fight every ticket, and never settle for anything on your record.

James Little made my DVP speeding ticket disappear.
Not sure if he can help in North Bay but maybe you can ask: jameslittlelegal@gmail.com
