Default Looking For a Cam Doctor

Hi,

Looking for a Cam Doctor. I have a mystery cam that I need to identify. Hopefully there is one in Ontario. Thanks.

If you can put it in an engine then all you need is a degree wheel and a dial indicator to map the cam. Not hard to do.

Thanks for the replies. I could do a degree wheel, but my heads are getting rebuilt - I could wait.

Does the degree wheel tell me all the information that I need? I am inclined to send it to a shop with a Cam Doctor.

I posted this same question on the Bird;

you would need to know maximum lift at what degree for each cam in a reference index to compare. A degree wheel will tell you what the lift is at certain degrees for each lobe , but so what if you have nothing to compare it to .
