Just an FYI weather and conditions look pretty good (slippery) for this Sunday at Mosport DDT Track. I am bringing my wife's Golf R with winters to have a lot of fun with! In some ways even better than summer driving.....very little grip. I have done this for a few years and it's like a less expensive Camp 4 (which I've also attended).

That does sound like fun. I've been meaning to try my 335i x-drive on the track in the winter but I haven't looked into it yet. Sadly I didn't catch this in time for tomorrow. Are there any other options for winter lapping days that people are aware of?

Once I get updates from others Pfaff and Driveteq, I will post on this forum further in advance. It was loads of fun yesterday!!!! Hopefully we get more winter weather. AWD BMWs are great in the snow as is the Golf R.

What credential does one need to qualify for the " Qualified lappers" price ?

Not sure what Driveteq means by that, but if you have some lapping experience I believe you'd be ok.

As for the course conditions - snow, ice, slush and some bare patches. My Golf R was sideways most of the day....
