OT: length of commute?
#32
Intermediate
Approx 1'800 km Ha!
Squamish to Ft McMurray, includes a 2 1/4 hr flight and a 40 min drive on the Sea to Sky Hwy...
Though, I only do that once a week still consider it a commute. Enjoy the drive if you can

I thing Thursday's are the worst traffic day because if you are going to take a day off, it's usually a Friday.

Pretty sure I've seen your car around. I'm 6km out from the Beach to york / southcore financial, driving along lakeshore or hop on/off gardiner.
I particularly enjoy it when I get the google notification saying "Heavy traffic for your drive home - ETA 15 minutes" - lol

I've played with my commute this week and going 401-Kingston Rd to Lakeshore/Gardiner to Kipling cut my time by 30 mins. So door to door I'm now 45 mins vs 1.5 hrs via 401 and 427.
Huge win.

I'm at Yonge/King so I hop the GO most days - less than 5 minutes to the train from my house, 30 minutes into the city and a 5 minute walk to my office - 40 minutes in all from Oakville. If I drive, I leave way early.

Live in Oakville, work in Oakville.
Have to drive around a while each way to warm her up.
When I changed firms from Toronto to Oakville it was like winning the 6/49...

What's your concern with a well? I've lived with municipal water, community well and private well. There are pros and cons to each, but all things being equal, I'd take a private well every time.
EDIT: I forgot to answer the commute question. if I choose to walk out to my shop, it takes about 2 minutes. ;-)
