Never understood why he took a chance on entering the US with an indictment over him. Seems harsh though.

I hope they put him in a cell next to the bankers responsible for the subprime scandal...

Maybe he was looking for a way to extend his vacation? Now he'll be enjoying an all-inclusive stay for 7 years!

Meanwhile... how many GM executives and engineers went to jail over actually killing people with the faulty ignition key system? Answer: ZERO.

I believe zero bankers went to jail for subprime scandal, as a matter of fact they took bonuses from the bailout.

Then trying to cover it up... How about those few people that were serving sentences for dangerous driving causing death because the car turned off, causing a crash... How about diesel gate breaking a few days after GM had to pay out those fines?

How many people did diesegate kill? 0 How many people lives were actually ruined by dieselgate? 0

Schmidt was a patsy, simple as that.
