At Porsche Lauzon. It's a track toy and has some miles:

Pretty sure it's a Rennsport member's former car. He now has a GT4.

Yes, it's from the US. Has aftermarket rotors, studs, cage.

Anyone know the driver? zero overrevs.

I do. Went for a drive with him in his GT4. Drives well.

He’s an instructor (red group) in Rennsport at LCMT. Saw his car regularly at the track.

In the pics, the front bumper looks to be quite off on color. Just lighting?

Nice car. Ive checked out that listing more than a few times over the past few weeks!

I can confirm its a nice one. I was looking at it when I bought mine (it was not for sale at the time).

Best,

Matt

It’s cars like this that make me wonder if the time has come to swap out a perfectly sorted 996TT that I’ve spent wayyy to much cash perfectly sorting over 7yrs of owning it for a spectacular, but certainly less understood, 996GT3 plus whatever cash would be needed.

Or maybe wait and see what happens to 991.1 GT3 prices. I love the rawness of the ‘6 GT3 tho.

Either way, this white car keeps calling my name!!!

Since the 996 GT3 is the first I think it will always remain special. It's the purest of the GT3s. 991 GT3 does nothing for me. They are not rare, production numbers are higher than ever and lack that feel. They produce performance numbers and that's all that seems to matter nowadays.

Old Porsches will always be special and the market shows.

Yes I agree with much of that.

996 GT3s drip rawness. Even sitting in one as it idles is a different experience from my Turbo. White cannot be beat on this car.

The want is is very high on this one.

do it Bio!
you will not regret it except when you want to take your kid for a ride. or wife for that matter (probably too rough for the wife)...but you will love it...maybe just add it to the 6tt, that is what I should do as well

No room for an additional vehicle so the turbo would need to go, but I wouldn’t miss the back seat as we now have a third car for when needed (Cheap but awesome Fiat 500E) and I think it’s been years since we needed the back seat. I might however miss the outrageous torque!

Im tempted forsure. A white 996GT3 is a special car.

Thanks everyone. They offered me a ridiculously low amount for the mint 2011 Spyder so I need to think about whether I can add yet another car that I'll barely ever drive...
