Default 996 window regulators

I've had to replace both of them, one of them twice.

They arent cheap but I found a site that has them for under $100/each.

That is cheap!
What were the symptoms?
My passenger side is making a hell of a screeching noise.

Thats cheap. I just installed both in gf boxster. Almost 300 each at porsche. Rod when it' going it'l sound like grinding cables.... until it just stops.. lol

Got a pair of them at the Hershey Swap meet a few hears ago for $35/each.

my driver side is the same...but only in the summer and during extremely hot/ humid days.

You might be on to something.
I've only ever heard it with her in the passenger seat. lol

The reviews on their regulators looked pretty good.
