and is that SlntSam from TPC???

It sure is! Are you a fellow Luder?

My experience with Prestige was brief but pretty much on par with other dealership type experiences. My car is from the states, brought into Ontario, then traded into Prestige before I bought it. Kind of hard for me to say anything good or bad about them because of not having much discussion.

Although I never purchased anything from them, my opinion of Porsche of London is pretty high.

I am a fellow luder!

I made a 'anonymous' account because I had to post about an issue with a dealer who damaged my car on delivery....I'm waiting for a mod to approve the post

FWIW - I bought my 997.2 from Porsche Lauzon almost a year ago. I was skeptical about going to Quebec...turned out to be an awesome experience... Great deal on the car... Full service history and no pressure sales... Huey shipped the car to me in Ontario.

Hey guys,

Hasn't this 996 been on their site for a good few months? It seems like a great deal and very good condition. I'm actually wondering why it's still available to be honest.

Reegs - the market for 996s is generally ice cold compared to 997 and 991. Also, the economy in Quebec is horrible and sales are struggling for high end cars outside Montreal.

You are showing your ignorance on the economy in Que.

You are right ... Horrible was extreme. I should have said "struggling". Nonetheless, I was happy travelling there to save significantly on my 997. Over 10k difference in pricing.

Economy isn't bad here and the wealth is very concentrated to the Greater Montreal Region. Lambo MTL is selling a stupid amount of cars and even we are doing rather well for a new business. Things aren't shabby either at Mercedes, BMW or Audi.

996s have hit the bottom of the curve but most people are petrified to buy one because of all the "issues" that are exaggerated. Lets be honest though a 997 interior is much nicer and the 997 is a much better looking car. That 4S is overpriced, that realistically is a low 30s car which is prob what they gave in on trade. Let them sit on it, come mid winter it will end up on TradeRev or offered through the grape vine.
