I remember reading a post/article you wrote years ago when you took your RS to Europe. Or maybe is was when you were there with your .2RS? Either way it was inspiring.

I think that's what these cars should be about. Creating memories/experiences rather than notches in one's belt. I need to work on this myself.

Yes..the current article was just a lookback on these cars as I saw them at the time. I did ship the 7.1RS back to Germany as it was a cancellation and had already landed in Canada by the time I bought it. The others were factory delivered.

I think we all have different ways we like to use our cars, and I do understand those who prefer to have very low-mileage pristine examples. Its just a different type of enjoyment.

My cars have miles on them, are not perfect but good enough and I have grown into them like old shoes. In the end the most valuable thing I hold precious is time. I have always tried to get the most possible experience out of any year, and do do new things.

I am not really part of the discussion as to what's the "best" Porsche, or the air-cooled vs water-cooled, the manual vs PDK, N/A vs turbo and so on..I will always try something new

At some point in the future we all get to the time where we can't do all this stuff.

It would be sad to reach that stage and not have gone out and had whatever experience with you car is meaningful to you.

So even if my cars depreciate, there is a very good chance that they will not depreciate faster than me
