His other name is "Sweet cheeks" due to the build up of gas ...... He keeps looking at my 951 and asks a lot of questions. I have know the owner of Heimraths who can set him up with one when he is ready. Check out mine at pcaronline. The sucker really moves!!!

I guess this calls for a Fun Run next spring, eh Bill.

Oh Ya....You Bet...I still have a few kinks to iron out but the beast is still driveable. It needs paint real bad but won't be for a couple of years. I'll just have to put up with her the way she is. Jaak that sounds like a real good thing.....TNX ...Bill

Delhi - call Franz at Auto Select in Newmarket - it's a bit of a trip but a brilliant, very fair and honest mechanic. One of the few who will work WITH you if you're a DIY guy.

This silver C4 isn't the basket case I know if is it?

Roger that RK,
thanks for the heads up. No this is a C2. It drives very well. best 964 I have sampled thus far. Which auto shop do you use RK? I was also looking at a 968 recently and it's also a nice ride. torn. for the cheaper price i can get a newer 968. but the thrill of a 911 is hard to ignore.

thanks!

Yeah - I'm going through the SAME thing (see my thread in the 964 Forum).

Love my S2 - but the 911 still calls to me...

No comp from me for a C2 - I'm an AWD guy.

I use Franz at Auto Select. As a DIY guy - I love that' he'll give me advice (sometimes over the phone for free). Top notch knowldege and fair pricing.

However - I have also "heard" good things about a little shop just up the road from me - GTi Tuning.

Want to go up there sometime and check it out togetehr?

GTi Tuning
2139 Lawrence Ave. E.
It's located next to a tall building. 416-757-8037
$65/hr

Rk dude... it's I who suggested GTi Tuning as I was there months ago. The chief Mech. is Jasper Man. Good guy. Owns a 951 or something. lots of porsches in the garage being fixed or modified. I'd love to go there again, but it's so far. I'm located in the west end (mississauga).
if you're an awd guy, why are you driving a 944 S2? heheheehe. btw, did you check out Rally of Tall Pines recently?

Oh - that's funny about GTi.

Yes - I went to Tall Pines. It was strange being a spectator. I competed in it the last two years, winning the Provincial Championship in P4 once wiht a good finish there.

I'm in an S2 because it fell in my lap for few $$ at a time when I had few $$ and there were NO good 964's! : )

Frankly - I've been THRILLED with the S2 - tons of power - quicker than a 951 around town and no real problems yet. And the hatch is a real bonus for a hockey player!

But there's something about a 911!

honestly i'm falling for the 968 that we checked out. but my wife said that it doesn't look like a porsche. then why buy? might as well just get a Z. it's sad but there's truth to it. anyways i'm not rushing. if you don't need awd, the 3.2 carreras are fun as well if not even more visceral. but the 250hp 964s have deep lungs. it just pulls and pulls!
I plan to visit Tall Pines perhaps next year. Too bad McGeer lost out. I sat in his rally car one time during a winter rally school held at Mosport.

Hey guys, If you need a good P-car mechanic, hands down, the best Uli Furtmair in Kithener.
I wish this guy would move his business to Windsor.
As far as Weltmeister , If this is the guy around Dupont and Spadina, close to Brunswick. He's not to bad either, He has been around along time.
Mducharme 86 930 turbo
84 carrera cabrio (for sale)
