I called the shop in Etobicoke today and the person that answered told me that the person that did the Gundo Hack is retired and they don't do it. This shop was at 220 Norseman street.
That sucks. They were really affordable and did a good job on my car.
Is Guelph the next best place? I don't mind a road trip! If I can get it done for $3-350 it would be a good cheap place to start and then look into an x pipe much later down the road.
Thanks for the advice lowbee! I went over to their shop today and although Matt was not there the young guy wrote down what i was looking for and will get a quote next week.
Thanks again
I'm the one that took my mufflers to the shop in Guelph. He did the Gundo (PSE hack) and charged me $100. Shop is called Pete's Muffler shop. Showed him a pic and both mufflers were done in a couple of hours. IMO000 has had a ride in the car and he can attest, it sounds awesome.
You can see from the pics that my mufflers (2002 996 cab) the Fister mod would have been a tight squeeze as my tailpipe is very short.
what about hotrod scott's? I dont have an experience with this shop (I do with steve over at tech tune) but I've seen their clip of performing gundo heck on their instagram.
That is a lot more than 100 bucks that someone paid for.
anyway, their instagram has a clip of completed exhaust heck. to me personally, I would rather save for proper fabspeed exhaust since these hecks arent cheap.

LoL !!! How old are you guys again ? Seems all the kids love hearing the pops and crackle while driving around.
This is probable the best way to do this mod, the exhaust is still routed through the muffler. IMO the other way with the 2 inch pipe (or 1 inch pipe) is the real "hack job" for the most part bypassing the muffler, probably has alot of unwanted drone at certain RPM.
On the VWs, when we tune out the "rev hangs" the result is the pops and crackles when the throttle butterfly is closed quickly.
