I'll be there early April, heading to Port Douglas for a wedding. Would be keen to hire a decent car and go exploring if the roads around the area are worth a visit. Can anyone advise (and give recommendations on rental companies that have something more enjoyable than a Corolla or Camry)?

Hertz do their adrenalin collection which includes cayman, boxster & toyota 86. Not sure if available from all locations though. Just booked there for July - but had to settle for an ordinary lump to fit the luggage

I don't think I have ever checked in here... GT3 in Sydney, mainly hang out in GT3 & cup forums OR log onto PFA for local stuff.

I'm a pcsnsw member too so I might catch some fellow members at future club social/sprint events. although its been a while.

Thanks for the tip Pete. Hunted around but couldn't find anything interesting available in Cairns. Looks like I'll be in a Corolla!
