Great move!!! there is no reason for sloppy driving to be apart of racing these kind of cars. If you know what you are doing, and you hit someone, it's because you just dont care. it's good to make these drivers start caring.. it will make for some better racing IMO.

It's not usually sloppy driving, but a tactic to overtake another car. If the officials aren't going to call it and you're not going to do it, you're not going to overtake anyone in a GT3 race. The officials in the US generally tell us not to hit each other too, but they hardly ever do anything when you do.... so...

I like the policy, let's see how they enforce it.

I think a lot of is is sloppy. (pat long and O'connel last year at laguna for example is more of the "sloppy" contact. what i mean by that is that ive made that move plenty of times, and if the guy doesnt see me, i take it to the inside and clip the dirt to avoid contact... currently in PWC, and most series, you dont need to care and just push your way through.) meaning, there are little consequences, you can make the move, shut the door and you dont need care. I dont mean its a skill thing, i mean its a "dont care, dont need to care" thing.
i agree, you need to do it to survive now and thats not great to see at this caliber of racing. incidental is one thing, but if you can just slam doors on folks, or punt some with no ramifications... that's not good racing in my book.
