I can't believe he's not seriously injured, or dead, much less chatting with the pit reporter......amazing.

I think he'll feel it tomorrow........

Always good to miss out on a live decapitation by 3-4 feet.

In other news, I feel like this Alonso rookie kid is doing ok.

If I were Honda I would get out of racing altogether. They are terrible. I feel bad for Alonso. he had a good run with that junk engine again. Same story as F1 Honda sucks!

I have to think he really enjoyed those last couple of heated laps.

Man, my heart just sank when FA went out, but glad for Sato--he went for it vs Dario and lost but not today. Really thought Helio would pull it out......

Honda engines hate Alonso. Tough luck for the Spaniard who drove well in his 1st Indy 500 race. However, if Fernando can't win the race, the next best contestant "The carbon fiber ninja, Takuma Sato" gets to drink the milk in victory lane.

Really bummed about Alonso losing his engine with 20 to go after running up front all day. I hope he comes back. Good job by Sato though.

That noise from the in-car was just a gut punch...

Good race. Deserved winner.

He's come a long way to be effective at "controlled aggression." Congrats!

Stellar performance by Alonso & well done Sato! He's come a long way and it's nice to see a senior driver win a big race!

Congrats to Alonso for driving a fantastic race. Honda let him down again! Two thumbs up for Sato!

Adding in the armed robbery encounter for Dixon, he has had some great survival good fortune this week.
