Well, there are a lot of folks who do NOT believe that the way to go faster at Daytona is to trim out the car... Also, the aerodynamic gains permissible in the GT/LM class over the more heavily restricted GT3/GTD cars clearly have a cost, in terms of drag.
The progression of improvements made a couple of years ago to the LMPC Orecas, specifically to move them just forward of having to battle the packs in GTD on the straights, leave them in the corners, only to be passed again in the longer straights, DID pay dividends and improved the racing.
We'll see what BoP adjustments are made after the Roar...

I didn't take any photos, but both GMG and one CJ Wilson racing GT4 had bad experiences during the morning cold test session.
