I remember that 935. Raced against it in '77 at Daytona 24hr. Ickx and Mass were driving. The group 5 935s ran away from us but Haywood-Graves won overall in an old RSR, followed by two 935s and we got 4th in my RSR and 2nd in IMSA group 4.
We led for a bit but had an injector issue and had to stop for a new engine. Just 30 minutes to do the swap but that did it for the win. I think Ickx crashed out and the car burned. Paul was in a Ferrari Daytona with Morton and they came in 5th overall and 3rd in GTO-Group 4.

Same era, a shot of my 934 at Mid Ohio. We didn't have it in time for Daytona or Sebring, just as well, the old RSR was very reliable and got us the overall win at Sebring. When I finally got the 934 at Road Atlanta, that thing moved me right up so I could battle Holbert and the BMWs. Holbert won over Shafer and I got third from Hobbs. Turned out it was not enough to go head to head with the Monzas all year and I only got one win at Daytona. I led the championship most of the year then small things started to break and dropped to third for the year. Still, the RSRs and the 934s were fun cars and I got to fight some great drivers and teams.
Good old days...40 years ago!

Here's one with my wife driving the 944. Not the best photo, but great memories of when we lived up north, shared the car at track days, and spent some really nice weekend in NY wine country...
