Sweet WW

That is a beautiful track, I have never been there.

inboard camera with data gives some good information. You should put that on your christmas gift list.
Nice... I just saw this in the other thread. You're definitely taking some different lines than I am. I'll definitely have to get an instructor out with me to set me straight.

I remember the race Boxster. Silver with the big exhaust right?

Definitely had a fun time!!

I'll look into it for next year. Maybe get a GoPro or something.

Thanks! And it really is. It's about an hour's drive east of Toronto if you're interested in making a trip out of it.

To OP...

Solid lines, very well done. Similar to what another response referenced, I had the feeling that you where holding the car too tight after apex, so I would like to see your hands on track out. Learning to release the car on track out takes some trust at Mosport because of the speeds of the corners... but oddly enough it's safer! Turn 3 and 10 really benefit from releasing the car sooner... you carry a lot more speed as a result.

Your line in 8-9-10 is the club line... good, quick, safe line... watch some races of some slower cars (not GT3 cars or cars with heavy aero) to get an idea of other lines you can take in that section.

But then again, I crashed a Cayman S in 9 the weekend before this event, so perhaps I should go *back* to the club line! ;-)

Off topic, but gorgeous car you own... Please think of me if you decide to sell. The year, colour, options, and mods are all what I desire for a 996. ;-)

Thanks! I appreciate that! Coming out of 3 and 10 I noticed a bunch of times that I don't make it all the way over to the left side of the track. I figured that meant I needed to take the turn faster rather than I need to unwind sooner. I'll keep that in mind next time!!

heh. Proof I listened to what my instructors taught me? I've been told a few times that a surprising number of crashes happen through that section and it's seemed strange to me. It doesn't feel like a dangerous area. I wonder if that's because of the way they teach it and that if you do it differently it wrecks you completely by surprise? How did you crash? Did you go off to the right or spin in to the left?

I think you've got me mixed up with someone. I'm driving a 15 Boxster GTS.

One way is if you're really ripping through T8 it's easier than you think to run out of track on exit before the entry to T9--don't ask
