Agreed that it's a stupid thing to arrest someone over but if the do-gooder that called it in see's the cop letting Lucas off and god forbid uploads a video of the encounter, now the cop is in deep ****.

Had a cop call my Dad more than once when I was doing stupid stuff as a kid. Unfortunately those days are over.

You make your choices and you live with the consequences. There are laws on public intoxication and urinating in public. He broke them. Life sucks. Get a helmet.

Except he was not arrested for public intoxication, it was public indecency. Hard charge to prove since the cop did not see Lucas relieve himself. If he had been driving, the arrest would be justified, but he was with others who apparently were not drinking.
Lesson of this story is, keep your mouth shut. Lucas, like Lochte should never have opened his mouth about the ****.

You have to wonder if he had the decency to walk around the corner and let it go out of view or did he simply whip it out at the gas island and make it rain.

I blame the alcohol because you know nobody will just whip it out of the gas island if they hadn't been shotgunning beers a good part of the evening

True but I can think of nothing good that comes from alcohol. It's good for some chemical reactions and cleaning stuff and that's about it.

Not so much puritanical as hygienic. If you were to allow some one to urinate anywhere they wanted to the odor would be ridiculous. As far as golf courses go, my parents had a house on a golf course and just what I liked to see was some one whipping out why the family was on the porch eating. Luckily most golfers are not uncouth a**e*

Good thing all of the other animals on the planet are using a toilet or who knows how bad things might smell.... The laws come from a puritanical basis not a hygienic basis. I guess having traveled the world as much as I have, I see things from a different perspective.
