Hallett has a couple of hard braking zones, and no real long straights so it can be a bit hard on brakes, but I would not say it requires race pads. That's dependent upon how you drive. How much experience do you have?

I ran just plain old street pads before I switched over to Hawk HT-10's.

We have went through a full set of PFC 08s in a single day without brake cooling on an e46m3 at hallett last August. It was brutally hot....

I am not one to try stock pads for ANY track event, but maybe it is just my BMW experience...

OP, just have some pads shipped in and swap them at the track! Plenty of us would be happy to help! Always better to be overbraked than underbraked.....

Yeah that's true, I wouldn't recommend stock pads. I've seen some track guys run them just fine and others kill them in 2 sessions.

And I would guess the heavier the car, the harder it will be on track pads. My e36M3 track car goes through HALF the pads that my brother's e46m3 does....

Hope you make it Jason, would you be driving your e36? Would love to stop by and say hello!

If I make it yes I would be bringing my e36M3, but I don't think I'm going to make it. I would be cool to meet some guys on here and of course drive Hallet, haven't been on that track since 2000.

I have been running HT-10's and very pleased with the bite and how they're lasting. I have 2 track days on them and I would guess I'm at 75% of the pad.
