It's always interesting when threads like this pop back up two months later without the OP. But for the sake of discussion I will mention that at Bondurant's Grand Prix school, we spent hours the first two days in a large parking lot accelerating up to 65, brake, h/t downshift, go around a cone, practice doing it the other way. The primary focus of the 4 day school was car control through weight management and H/T was the first basic skill you needed to accomplish it.
