I like going to DE with a clean car. Washed and vacuumed.

I got a ton of bugs and rain dirt over the DE weekend.
It was bugging me on the drive home, and I wanted to wash it all off.

I really enjoyed getting it back to clean.
All I did was use a spray detailer and then a light coat of wax.

I'm surprised how few take advantage of showers at the track. Makes for a much more pleasurable drive home.

As far as the car, when I shared the garage, I'd usually wash it/them off at the end of the event/time at the track. Further detailing would wait until I got there the day before the next event.

Last time I used the car on track was October 2015.
It will be used again for the first time this year in a couple of days.
Cleaned the car last week.

So do I hold the record?

I use Gyeon Tar Remover for the rubber marks. They just melt away without any effort whatsoever. Even after 6 months of "curing"

I have literally never washed my Miata, purchased Oct 2014. (excluding wheels and windows)

Nah, I like making the long drive home all scuzzy--makes me feel like I accomplished something.......but that car's gotta be clean!

Just a good coating on the rotors to keep them rust free at all times.

LOL at the track showers and being scuzzy.

Most of the showers I've seen at tracks (save for Barber and VIR) would likely leave you dirtier than when you went in. And/or possibly also electrocuted.

Gender identity at race track not a major issue yet. Which bathroom are the showers in. lol
