Monticello Club Race Schedule
You asked for an enduro. We got it. You asked for real qualifying sessions. We got it.
You said a 3.6 mile track with 18 turns takes time to learn. We got eight hours of track time for each group.
Friday: three 40 minute practice sessions and 40 minute Fun race
Saturday: 15 minute warm-up, 30 minute qualifying and three 40 minute Sprint races
Sunday: 30 minute practice and warmup, 30 minute Enduro qualifying and 90 minute Enduro
Try this World Class Facility! Your registration includes the Monticello Motor Club’s gourmet breakfast, lunch, hors d'oeuvres, craft beer and wine and Saturday awards dinner, plus a ¼ zip event fleece.
Registration just opened at http://register.pca.org.
Event, Hotel, Tire, and MMC Test Day Information: http://tinyurl.com/rtrclubrace.

I'm in. My favorite event of the year. Definitely a different high-end relaxed vibe for a PCA club race. Looking forward to getting back on track. Family and work have been unfortunately interfering with me getting my racing on. Hope we get a strong SPB showing like last year. Already 8 signed up in less than 24 hours. That's a good sign.

Three things to remember about MMC:
Second gear is your friend at several turns; and
Don't lift at Kryptos!
Have patience at Patience.

It's a very busy time of year in the catskills with music festivals and stuff like that.
Get yourself a room at some place like the Super 8 (which is a dump, BUT it is 100 feet from Buffalo Wild Wings). Then get yourself on the waitlists at the Marriot Middletown and the-sullivan.com. The other hotels in Middletown like Microtel are not great either but it is clean.
The other option is to stay in Newburgh (also not the nicest town) and will make your commute to MMC about 50 mins.
Or you can invite Justin Bieber to the weekend who will not only join you on the podium when you win the race, but can most certainly get you a hotel room anywhere.

Oh BTW, if you do stay at the Sullivan (now Ramada) there is a craft beer place across the street with good burgers as well. You can also buy takeaway of about 100 craft beers. The pizza next door is also pretty good.

Both are really good options. There is also Bernie's Holiday Restaurant next door. It is a really good restaurant although I think it is a little pricey for what it is.
