Ha. Thanks! Technically the car has TC but because of how the tires expand at different rates we have it turned to 0. ABS and paddle shift would be nice to have though.

Just found this video of Van Svenson at the Glen. You guys didn't mention him at all and this is some incredible video so even though I wasn't there I thought it fair to post this as one who is enjoying this thread as pure entertainment. Really awesome driving! For those that want to cut to "the chase" fast forward to 4:50 for where the fun begins.

Van is one of the best, for sure!

However, be aware his throttle bar is 100%, all the time! Not working, so don't try that in your car thinking he's flat, all the time!

That's funny 'cuz for a brief moment I was wondering if that was some strange form of left foot braking

That's the Flat Out meter in Van's car and it goes to 11.

Haha - I had a pulley glued on the throttle cam, but it fell off (after several years)! Hopefully you can watch the g-meter to get a sense of when I'm getting on the gas.

A little something from Indycar on how good the track is after the repave. They were 5 seconds faster than the old track record. http://www.racer.com/indycar/item/13...!hinch_hill_WG

How many track records were broken this year?

A little smack talking there... Actually, Dixon did a 26.8 in 2009 and Hinch's video lap was a 1:34... Talked to Penske crew and they were marginally quicker than last time out.

Yes, they BETTER be quicker. They haven't been there for six years!

It also helps that the cars are lighter by a few hundred pounds, more powerful, better aero. Apples to oranges. Besides, they gave a wide berth to the curbs...
