Thanx. So far I've heard you have to trim those every time you reapply due to effects. Has that been your experience as well? Any good places you could recommend for a custom set (color and font)?

Shoe polish on the glass or painters tape is your solution.

Sheesh, let's all lighten up; the poor guy probably has no money left after buying the GT4.
Saving money on track stuff is something I could do better.

Too many stickers on the rear window to place numbers and comply with organizer's rules.

If I want to live to see another day I better not remove those stickers.

The boss, the one who reads over my shoulder , wants more artsy influence in the number display.

.... then don't be a cheapskate and buy some vinyl numbers. Buy them in bulk so you can mix and match them in the future. Even if they are single use, it's the cheapest part of your weekend.

Glad you figured out an answer to your own question (painters tape) but just provided some good rhetoric for us all to read through in the process. Good luck

Everything doesn't have to occur online (coming from a household that seems to get daily Amazon deliveries...) you can go to pretty much any sign/print shop and ask them to print numbers for you on reusable vinyl. It just looks cooler than painters tape. $5 might be aggressive so take a $10 bill with you.

Or buy a roll of Drawer/shelf liner AKA Con-Tact paper and cut out your numbers yourself.

Thats the spirit/thought. I knew that there would be some on here that would think outside of the box.

Thanx
