My guess, some went out on drys, some went out on wets, that would also explain the early spins and contact. She might have pitted late due to tire change up, or been forced to pit in back if changed from quali tire, I'm not familiar with VLN rules on that.
Plus it was her home track where experience does count even more so than most average tracks.

I recall she started from the back for tech infraction (ride height or such) qualifying was thrown out.

She is the real deal, knows the track better then most. Was disappointed, when she got a ride in WTCC for the ring race, back half of the pack and stayed there. Maybe if it had been wet :-)

Look forward to seeing her on Top Gear reboot.

Interesting to watch how she anticipates what's behind the next blind apex so well. She clearly knows the track well which gives her such an advantage.
