what was Steve Vandecar's email. need to get my member ship squared away and have some technical questions of the new GGRs for class rules.

that HP to weight rule is a little off... no way should it have max torque as a factor. I went through this with the NASA GTS rule makers and they finally saw the light. makes NO sense. (well a little in some extreme cases).

Question: How does PCA grid for the qualifying session Saturday. Is it fastest lap of any practice session Friday or just first to grid?....

PCA typically grids each session based on fastest lap of the prior session (not including the practice starts/fun race session). So Practice 3 on Friday should set the grid for Qualifying on Saturday.

That's how it's been in the past at festival of speed. For the races they pregrid in the lot by nascar 1/2. You have to get to the grid very early compared to Poc. They lock it down early and they'll send you out dfl if you lag, btdt.

I'm going to have to chase JR or some other POC guy to relearn the track. I've only been there once, in 2011. Looking forward to the return.
Tom, I believe I saw you on track yesterday. We are in garage #61 if you want to stop by. Looking forward to a good race today.

Cheers,
