18's will pay for themselves in time. You have far more options for tires, and those options are cheaper.

I kniw I am rare, but I love r888's. Run them on my DE GT3 car occasionally still ( ran them exclusively for 3 years). I can typically get 45-60 HC on them while passing most cars on Hoosiers. Never tried NT01 so can't comment on how they compare.

I ended up getting the Nitto's in 305 for the rear from Discount Tire. Can't wait to see how they do on this car at TWS in a few weeks.

Try them at 32f/34r hot they get squirrely much warmer over 36r and know the first couple,sessions they will feel a little squishy until they scrub in nice. They are good to the cords. And best when it is just the 2 center grooves left. Have fun.
