The ROAR before the 24 @ Daytona
Been following the Conti Practice:
- looks like the good old Rum Bum 997 is beating the new Cayman Gt4 Clubsports by a good margin
- Rick DeMan is running a 6 speed GT4 in GS quite well
- ST looks like a Cayman invasion
- GS field is quite small (realize some teams are testing elsewhere)
I realize that there are a lot of games being played with sandbagging to influence the BOP adjustments but nevertheless.....

-Rick's doing fine, but he's at a high :59, 5th out of 7th last session Saturday.
-Yes. GO, NLE! Concerned about Jonsin's team, though.
-Manufacturer's war has injured GS badly. Front running folks (except for Maxwell and his crowd) didn't want to play and several multi-car teams and drivers have moved up in IMSA or laterally into another series...
How about Rob Slonaker!

-I would expect that initially, but the last practice had Marcelli's GT4 CS RIGHT behind Scott Maxwell's overall leading Mustang, BOTH in the high 1:57's... The new car WILL be quicker.

Thanks Peter. Let's hope our luck of staying on top of the ST lead board continues into the race weekend! Our #38 Cayman was the best it has ever been!
